About Reverb Coffee

Reverb Coffee is located inside the Historic Woolworths Building. Serving specialty coffee & matcha with creativity, intention, and community at heart.

Located at 1400 19th St Ste A, Bakersfield, CA 93301, Reverb Coffee operates as a coffee shop serving Bakersfield in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 7 am–3 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (661) 671-1963. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is reverb.coffee, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 80 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Bakersfield and suggests consistent service.

This place was recommended by the California Fruit Depot, and they mentioned a fig coffee. Once I arrived I came to learn that they make these gourmet syrups, for which I ordered the Figgy Smalls. It was delicious and it definitely has a flavor which I appreciated. I wasn’t able to sit at a table next door since the doors were open and felt inviting. Great stop on my road trip to see the Sequoias.

Bakersfield doesn't always get the love it deserves for the quality of its service industry. Further, being from Australia, and a qualified barista since 1998, finding good coffee when traveling in the US can be tricky. So to say that the bar of expectation was low for a stopover in Bakersfield would be accurate. How wrong this proved to be with Reverb coffee. I mean... Wow! From its beacon-like presence, among a street laden with security grills in the early morning, to the smiling faces of Jake, Toby and the team behind the bench, every facet of the coffee experience was served up beautifully. The coffee was so good that I went back to buy seconds, just to check that I didn't get lucky. They were 2 for 2. If you love good coffee, you'll need to Reverb when in Bakersfield. I'll find a way to stop in everytime I travel through the Inland Empire.

Great downtown grab and go coffee shop. Conveniently connected to Woolworths diner I popped over after eating for an after lunch coffee. I chose the matcha tea. It was really yummy. I paid extra for oatmilk which made #allergygirls drink pricey.

I recently visited this new coffee shop, and it instantly became one of my favorites. The atmosphere is warm, modern, and inviting β€” perfect for relaxing, catching up with friends, or getting some work done. The coffee is exceptional β€” rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. I tried the house blend and a latte, and both were perfectly balanced with great flavor and aroma. BEST CAPPUCCINO in Kern County!!! Overall, this coffee shop is a true gem β€” excellent coffee, great service, and a comfortable vibe. Definitely worth the visit and a new go-to spot for any coffee lover.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reverb Coffee β˜•οΈ Reverb Coffee far exceeded my expectations. The owners clearly take pride in what they’ve built β€” and for good reason. Located in the newly opened and historic Woolworths building at 19th and K Street, this spot has the perfect blend of charm and modern style. The vibe is cool, chill, and welcoming, with vinyl records spinning on a record player that add such a unique and cozy touch to the atmosphere. Every time I visit, the baristas are smiling, friendly, and always happy to share their personal favorites or recommendations. Their espresso shots are especially rich and smooth, and I love that they craft their own syrups and regularly rotate their menu with creative specialty drinks. This is definitely my new go-to spot β€” whether I need a caffeine fix or just want a relaxing afternoon pick-me-up.
